How Atlas handles your data
This notice describes the current Atlas product and is intended to be clear about the data the service needs in order to work. It should be reviewed as the product, suppliers and commercial operation change.

What Atlas stores
Atlas stores the account details needed to provide the service, your saved research and decisions, product usage events, subscription and access state, support requests, and content records you choose to create.
Football and research data
Atlas combines provider-backed football data with your own saved research. Your private research workspace is not published unless you explicitly use a publishing feature such as Content Trail.
Product analytics
Atlas uses first-party product analytics to understand whether pages and workflows are being used. The current analytics design avoids storing public visitor IP addresses, user-agent strings or persistent public visitor identifiers.
Billing
Payment processing is handled by the configured payment provider. Atlas stores the identifiers and subscription state needed to reconcile access, but should not store full payment-card details.
Support and privacy controls
If you contact Atlas Support, the request is linked to your signed-in account so it can be investigated and tracked. Signed-in users can also download their Atlas data directly and use the guarded account-deletion flow from Data & Privacy controls.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while it is needed to operate Atlas, preserve research history, meet contractual or legal obligations, or resolve disputes. A deletion request may require a short verification and reconciliation step before account data is removed.
Security
Atlas uses authenticated access, role-based permissions, audit controls and monitored infrastructure. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so operational controls and recovery procedures are reviewed as the product evolves.
Your choices
Signed-in users can download a machine-readable data copy and manage account deletion directly. Atlas Support remains available for privacy questions or anything that needs a human review.
